will the transmission in a Turbo II bolt up to a 93+ rx7 motor

just wanted to know if the two transmissions are the same with the 93+ and the 87-92 turbo II or are they the same as the N/A 87-92 RX-7

I dont think so, the spine count is more than likely different.

The input shaft spine count/diam is the same, but it is shorter on the FC by about 2" so you will have to swap it out with an FD one, you will also have to put on the FD bell housing and swap the tail shaft case out, the sift linkage and every thing else is pretty much identical.

Did not know that, on most generation changes(the ones I worked on anyways) the tranny's are completely changed..surprised.
