Havn't heard of it or used it.

I won't run Kendall even in my piston engines.
There's a reason the stuff is cheap, you know.
I stick with Valvoline, and Amsoil for my $.

I doubt if the quality of the motor oil varies that much. The oil filter actually matters more than the oil. Conventional oil are similar.

Synthetic oil varies more since the formula is more diverse.

Bottom line, Kendall are widely used in Mercedes and other cars. It's primarily offered by oil change places and dealers bc it's marketed to businesses instead of general consumers. I wouldn't hesitate to pour it in. If I had a choice, I would get Castrol or other brands though.

Thumbs up

i really appreciate everyone being cool about this topic! i have only used castrol 20w50 and i had heard something about the kendall oil. there was a sticker in the door of the 88 tII i bought and wondereed if it could be any better than the castrol i use. i suppose these things are a matter of opinion. amsoil i have considered. its price seems hefty, but USUALLY you get what you pay for.
