Greddy T78 kit filter sucks?

Does anyone know if the stock foam filter that comes with the T78 kit should be oiled? If so where do I get the oil. It seems like this filter is letting too much crap through. I am going to order a K&N any suggestions on the best one. I wanted one with the filter in the top instead of just a cap, but they only go up to about 3.5 inches in diameter. Thanks,

Thanks for your replies guys. I noticed that the filter was not working very well when I took off the elbow that attaches to the turbo so I could polish it. And there was dust inside the pipes. Probably shaved a few years off my engine life.
K&N here I come.

I am switching to K&N. It is the Greddy foam element that is letting too much dust through. Let me know how the K&N's are working. Thanks,

Brady

K&N's are paper element. You use oil which does a better job of trapping crap.
