Finally almost finished, my ACT sprung 6 puck finally arrived as well as a new s5 t2 flywheel.
After that I dropped it in and swapped my poly mounts for solid mounts to match my solid trans mounts. Dropped right in and slipped right onto the input shaft, idk if that's a good sign or bad sign at this point lmfao. My external oil mod is complete, I got a set of 4 1600cc injectors, threw on the lower intake, t2 fuel rails, and had to modify the FD throttle cable, threw on a OBX header and need to section a piece in to connect it to my catback.
Now I start the re wiring nightmare, I'd say 6/10 know what I'm doing lol. Thankfully I'm just modifying what was already done by my buddy at the shop. All I have to do is reroute and extend some wires and also put in a nicer fuse block and relays, then I'll loom it all nicely and be done with it.
I still need to wire in a couple more sensors, modify the n/a oil filler tube, put in my wideband and exhaust temp gauge. Hopefully by next weekend I'll be brappin away to paradise

That is looking really good. I wish I could make as much progress in such short time. I barely have time on the weekends for a couple of hours.
So you made 165 on a old stock NA 13B motor by swapping in a Haltech ? Thats pretty good imho. What exhaust did you run ? Stock collector/manifold ? Did you keep the stock fuel pump and injectors ?
I had the tuner already wire my PS1000 with the proper connectors for the setup I will be using, so I have less worrys about wiring it all up. Good wiring will make life a lot easier. Once the car has passed inspection I will install the Haltech and see what I can squeeze out

I made that by deleting all emissions, only running an alternator, stock pump/injectors, deleted 5th and 6th port sleeves as well as the actuators, throttle body mod, electric fan, stock header to a cheap old catback. Nothing special at all, ran for 5000 miles before she finally carbon locked. Also it was my buddy who tunes 1st Rotary ever tuned so with a header and a lil experience maybe could hit 175 thru stock ports! Not that he's not an awesome tuner but when it's the 1st time you come across Rotary split timing I'm sure there's a couple hours left on the table. I cannot wait to see if we can crack 250+whp, kinda wishful bit a boy can dream can't he 😂😂

Everything is all wired up nicely, I need to get a new IAT sensor since I refuse to pay $55 for just a clip since my s4 n/a IAT clip won't work. I also need to wire the FD TPS as well, the multimeter was missing so I couldn't calibrate it. But I was able to test my fuel system for leaks and thankfully just a slight one on the feed line before the primaries. Probably a loose clamp honestly lol.
I also need to modify the filler neck and finalize an intake tube as well as patch a section of exhaust to meet up with my the new header, and add a wideband bung where both tubes collect as well as a bung for my EGT gauge. Any day now I'll finally get to hear it, I've waited far to long

All together, just gotta work out a few bugs and hook up the header to the rest of the exhaust. It sounds fantastic, hopefully tonight we will get it idling on its own. So far we just got it started on the tune from my stock motor then it's break in and dyno time!!
It's only a short clip but it sounds mean as hell...

No progress on the tune, my buddy fell asleep after work smdh. So I decided to wrap some things in carbon fiber vinyl... I like to call it Farbon Chiber 😂😂 sunroof, gas door, RE-A mirrors, and the center console, shifter surround, and ash tray.

Made a little cover for the relays and fuse block, trying to keep all the water off it I can, even though it is water proof lol.
Not to bad for a piece of the aluminum hood I chopped out for my hood vent.
So now it's all together again and hopefully my oil filter sandwich plate leak is fixed, I'll find out later today

The damn snow has kept me.from braking in the motor, so I decided to do some body work and then I'm gonna wrap the car in this gloss white vinyl we have. All in all its not much but a few dings and scratches.
I also picked up a few new goodies to spruce up the interior a scoche, as well as a Bee-R rev limiter and a EGT gauge for my new carbon pod.
The carbon is made by a company called retro spec we're dealers for now...They have a ton stuff in carbon and plastic for rx7s and everything I got fit perfect. And of course the Bee-R is a Bee-R.

I've made a big change on my car, I had the luck of a bunch of car wrap vinyl being dropped off at the shop for free so I tried my hand at wrapping a car. It has its blemishes and is by no means perfect but it looks fantastic.
All that's left to do is a little trim and the front bumper. I was undecided on what to do with the hood but that changed when the perfect amount of carbon wrap showed up.
All the trim is on besides the driverside front fender piece and both rear trim pieces.
Also got all my carbon interior pieces and my Bee-R put in its spot, just gotta wire it in once I find a diagram.
