fuel pulsation damper - eliminate?

fuel pulsation damper - eliminate?
i am in the middle of doing an overhaul and decided to replace all the fuel lines and the FPD. my questions is, eventually, the new FPD is going to go bad so how about just eliminating the darn thing?

There were a couple discussions a few months back about that, search FPD and I think you should find something.
