Question S-AFC worth it?

A buddy of mine is selling his basicly new(i was there when he bought it a few months back) S-afc for $200. He bought it for his old school G2 integra, but his now selling it due to the fact that he said it was so hard to tune. and that his car ran like crap for a long time until weeeks and weeks of tuning went by(with no real gains). My question was is, is it that hard to tune the S-AFC for a TurboII rx7? and what are the benefits?ive never dealt with these things before so i have not the slightest idea how to tune/use these.please help guys

Well I would get it. It is a good safety mod. Do you have an A/F gauge? If not you should one of those and tune it with it or take it to a dyno if you have money for it.

They are VERY easy to tune, in order to get it exactly right you should run it on a dyno with a wide band O2, but you can get pretty close just by tuning by ear. The S-AFC is great for minor mods and it is AWESOME if you decide to run upgraded secondaires. If I were you I would buy it up quick. How much boost are you running your car at right now? If you are using an FCD you NEED something like this to add some fuel back in.

If you don't want it, tell us so we can get it... that's a great mod and a great deal on that item.
