My friend Nuse wanted me to post this link - he was the guy driving a white Mazda 3, carrying around his huge D-SLR camera.

Awesome weekend. Great job to Gimpy (I mean Billy
) Crit, Dena, Donnie and Kim, and everyone who helped with the weekend. There is a tremendous amount of work to pull off a successful weekend , especially coordinating with the SCCA. A big thanks to all the sponsors too! All kinds of fun fun.
I have a wonderful time, one of my highlights of the weekend was getting to drive an FD again on the parade lap... Thanks Kevin for trusting me to drive your FD! Schweet, your set up was so much fun to drive, over my previously stock FD.
Also it was great catching up with so many Rotorheads I have not seen in quite a while. And yes, even all you OGTA and XRoads guys. I'm glad I didn't participate in the rotary olympics.... some of your arms are going to hurt for days. Much other fun, I'm sure the pics and vids will get posted up soon.
Thanks to all the Mazda piston powered people for coming out too. I have to find a place to display my 2nd place award amongst my rotary collection.

I had a great time aswell. It was my first event so I had a great time meeting all the fellow enthusiasts and talking with all of you. Can't wait to go to another one, I'll definately try to be at some of the track events coming up. I got plenty of pics, I'll post soon.
Just want to say THANKS to all the people behind the scenes. I had a great time seeing everyones cars, and getting to put a face to some screen names. I think Amy even had a pretty good time, there were a couple Vettes on the track so that made her day. Can't wait for the next time. Thanks again to everyone involved.
I'm glad the event went well for you guys, and that the weather cooperated. Wish I could've been there for it. I'm going to start planning now for next year, as long as I don't break anymore bones before then.
I had a great time getting off my *** and attending a rotary/mazda meet. Thanks to those who organized it, I just wish I could have gotten of work sooner to be there more during the saturday festivities. It was nice to see the faces I remember, some I never met except on the forum and then those I have never met or heard of
But everyone was super nice and I see now that even though some faces may change, the general attitude of the owners remains the same...just fun to hang around and chat with everyone.

I had a great time as well. I had a previous engagement on Saturday and didn't get to make it until late Saturday night, but still had a blast getting out on the track with all those Mazda's and hanging out with some long time owners and some newer ones. Big thanks to Billy for putting this together. As soon as my computer once to cooperate, I'll post some video's. I was glad to see people driving these cars the way they were meant to be driven.
And Tim.... your car sounded GREEEEEAT on that flyby.

Brent, I think it is awesome that you squeezed ZoomFest into your weekend. Great to catch up with you again. Your car looked and sounded great on the track.
Lou, I guess I better start wearing my rotor bracelets... one on each wrist, so I can work up the muscle to spin the rotor around and take the record from Crit next year. OK, maybe the woman's record.
Hey Lou, your bumper is on fire!!!

A big thanks to Billy for the event and for keeping our old car up to date, as well as all who helped and those who came to support the event.
I met several new people and had fun. Wish my SA was running!

Yes thanks Billy for putting it all together. I'll definately be going to the next one aswell. And hopefully be running in the PDX next time. Haha and nice plug there Chad with the GSL ad.
Haha hopefully next time you won't have to tow the car on the trailer so you can PDX and cruise back with us. I never knew a truck and trailer could move so fast down the highway lol.

Hope to get it done and painted so I can move on to enjoying it and ripping up the autocross events.
Great show! I agree with the screen names on the name tags. Thanks to Re-speed for the killer RX3 disc brake conversion & an excellent show. Also thanks to all the sponsors and people who made it happen. See you next year!
