OK a mate bought a car with a v3 wolf and it needs some work on the cold start and low load settings. I thought my v4 hand controller would work to adjust this but it only loads the main screen. None of the buttons do anything.

So i thought i'll try the v3 software. Got it all setup on XP using that port program etc but the cable i have is a com port (serial) to the wolf. Where it seems the v4 wolf used a parrallel (printer port) to the wolf.

Is there anyway to use the v3 software with the serial com port? I doubt i'd be able to find a v3 cable unless the wolf connection is a generic connector (doesn't look like it to me though).

Yeah i got the v3 software up and running using that link, but because i was using my v4 cable (serial) it didn't work.

I tried searching 'cable' but the search feature doesn't seem to be working right. It only finds this thread. I'll try again now though.
