Well today was the first day of tunning the car while not on jackstands. by the end of the time i had (and gas for that matter) We managed to rough tune up to 5k comfortably to load band 36.

Car idles as of now at about 12:1, under Very light throttle to 3kish its a nice 12-12.5:1, when i get on it a lil more (no more than half) it stays low low 12's and highmid 11's untill i start to get 5kish in the higher load bands. Then it starts jumping from low 11's to low 12's. I have the coolent temp correction map on that was in nyt's map and it seems to be working wonderfuly unchanged along with his fuel injector staging map

car was pulling a steady 50's kpa at idle at 1100rpm

If anyone is intreasted here is the map thus far, I know that it is not smooth, its just started and the first time ive ever done this

On a side note, does anyone know how to bring up the 3d looking maps that are shown a few times though the manuals?

Those 3-D maps are from the v3.1. Its was quite a cool feature, which seems to have been dropped with the v4 software....

 

turn on air temperature compensation =] its set to off right now

battery voltage is useful too for when the idle drops which is also off

 

Anything else? Im still new to all this, i am not using an agressive ignition map am i?

 

Software 4.72 has the 3d maps for the version 4
