Maxed out injectors
Gee I am going to need to replace them with garden hoses! I am having trouble with running out of duty cycle on my injectors. I currently have 550/1000 and they max out at 5800 rpm(actually about 5000 it hits 80%) I have a rising rate regulator malpassi 1:7 and I was wondering if anyone had adjusted these before and had some tips. I am running 45psi above the manifold pressure at the moment and have 2 LARGE efi pumps pushing fuel to my engine. I would like to know if I can get the pressure up to 55 psi or is this asking too much? I may need to bite the bullet and run 1000/1680 but thats another $400au plus the time to modify them.
Any suggestions?
TII 3 inch exhaust High flow S4 turbo running 9.2 psi LARGE extend port and a Wolf V4 new jocks after first full power run. Fuel bowser towed behind.

you should get new injectors. im currently running 1000/1680s. the bosch 1680s took about 10 minutes to modify to fit into the secondaries. the rc engineering 1000cc primaries fit in perfectly

The housings have the same port timing as used on 8 sec drag car. I have small exhaust ports to keep the exhaust speed up. I have a modified S4 turbo with a TO4 compressor. I couldn't see the road real well either. My fuel pressure rises with boost so it is pushing in some fuel!!! I haven't even set up my boost control yet and running only 9.2 psi.
I still run the top mount IC too looks dead stock except for the BOV. I will run dry ice at the track to cool it off. In the mean time it looks like 5000 rpm is it.

Ok I got some good tuning done today with my brother inlaw. It was a little rough when we started but it feels good now. I will need to get 1680cc injectors if I want to run more than 10 psi. I am running right on 80% duty with 9.2 psi but I can get 7000rpm and it is little rich. Tonight I cleaned up around the map to do another tuning run during the week. I also now have a dislike for rough roads and corners bloody mouse cursor jumping all over the place. I will get the neck brace off tomorrow
