air temp sensor part number?

I am having a problem locating a replaceement air temp sensor for my version 3 (yes, old school version) Wolf 3d. The one I found that seems to physically fit, WELLS part number su343, doesnt show the correct temperature. The other one that I found at the local parts store for a GM is borg warner part number wt382. The NPT thread size is too big (1/2" instead of he 3/8" I need). Summit racing has one that looks good (MSD-2320) but I am afraid to try it. Any recommendations?

The photo is of my old, busted one.

Thanks
DC

Is that the same part that Wolf has on their website? Their site says "This Air Temperature Sensor is the standard sensor used with the Wolf V400 and 3DV4 Universal ECU "
Product: Air Temperature Sensor
Code: 310-010-021
Price: $35.90
Description: High Speed Air Temperature Sensor for use with Wolf3D Universal and PlugIn ECU's.

Can I buy this thing locally?

I am sure it is a VDO 150 ... I have a a V3 sensor in my car and a V4 ECU all from Wolf but I never checked the numbers I sort of remember VDO 150 on mine.

I found out from a reliable source that the sensor is from an Australian GM car . . . a Holden Commodore. Now I still need to find a replacement.
