2 weeks from today WHiV5 will be kicking off with more people joining the list of expected attendees ... including owners that will be driving in from other states driving in Rx2, Rx3, Rx7's RX8 and the non Mazda's rotary powered wooot woooot
word is we may be expecting Repu's as well

Ask joe if you guys can leave at 6 so i can roll with your caravan, im hesitant to roll with the RX8 at 9am, got no a/c in my RX-3

Still in the running, but it'll be a near thing; the carb goes on for leak/float level testing tonight before final assembly, then I need to drop the tank and change the soft lines and the vent valve. And the fuel filter, while I'm down there.
Button all that back up, tune it, put the undertray, steering wheel, & hood back on, align the headlights, then get it smogged and licensed next week. Oh, and wash it - - Not that it'll do much good before driving to Vegas.
So long as nothing goes too very wrong, I'll probably make it. Might even have time to vacuum.
I'll have no AC either - - it's all in a box in the garage, no time to deal with. If the wife decides to stay home, that'll probably be why.

Hey Ray... I read thru the 8 Club thread, but didn't see any mention if the caravaners are planning on bringing radios to keep things coordinated.
Those cheapy FRS walkies can be real handy for caravans, but somebody has to pick channels & let everyone know.

Good point DD ... which leg of the Socal caravan would you be catching up with?
There is also suppose to be a second group out of the SBDO area but I beleive they were looking at a 4AM departure time
I'll get a hold of the organizer for the 8's and get back at ya

Looks like the weather report is improving; Prediction for Vegas on Friday has dropped to 'only' 90, from 101 for Thursday. Supposed to be back to 96 on Sunday, so we may be heading home early in the day.

If I can finish getting 'legal,' I'd be joining up at Ontario Mills for the 9am depart, most likely.

while still a little warm the weather looks as if it will be very nice
Oh yeah, didn't push the presale on shirts so there is plenty and will available for purchase Friday 3PM to 8 PM and then again from 7AM ish on Saturday
