miatas can get pretty tricked out in SD I've seen quite a few of Turbo miatas or a cop might mistake you for a S2k if he is blind enough

Just a head's up for everybody, my friend called the California BAR (bureau of automotive repairs) and the State Ref program has been suspended until a new budget is passed in Sacramento. Basically it means if you get a State Ref ticket, you have to wait until the new budget gets passed before you can get your car checked out. You cannot go to a smog station and have the ticket written off. This comes from the BAR themselves.

Nope, not a joke and like I said it came straight from BAR's office.

Doesn't matter now though, the state budget got approved so your local friendly State Ref should be back in business soon.

 

Thats good news, i was getting worried about my buddies at the BAR.

I'm glad they will have the means to feed their families.
