wackyracer, i have a top pull on it now, but i need to hold the cable itself. i need something that will attach it to the block. i got it started and it sounds really strong, but again it blows a lot of smoke, can you guys come over next weekend or week. can't do it this weekend because i'll be in las vegas. thanks.

Yea, use an alternator bracket, bend it kinda sideways, and attach it to the bolt that runs through the block and tranny.

Cant make promises but its best to just drive to my house. I have been very busy lately. Cant even postwhore at work, and cant find any available computer at home. And yup, an alternator bracker will do.
