So I helped my friend take out his motor in his 87 GXL yesterday, which is so much easier the second time around. So here is the craziest part; it was the original motor, and it had 300,000 MILES on it!!! He is the second owner of the car. Which brings me to this question of how many miles does your 7 have? Just curious to see if anyone is even close to that.

My cars got 195k and running fine.No rust just little dents.Swapping motors though just because it has a little oil leak but you know how that goes. Original engine though.I guess its when dumbasses drive it too hard and blow gaskets, rings, and seals. And thats why they need to rebuild so soon. But rotary all the way bro
The rotary in n/a form is one of the industry’s most reliable engines. This reliability also showed up in the '80 through '92 LeMans win professional racing. They definitely were not the most powerful cars on the track but they obtaining the winningest record by running to the finish; beating Porsche to the longest winning streak in IMSA.
my old fc had 170k on it, my current fc has 6470 miles on it ,
my friend had 280k miles on it, and he never took care of the fc, surprisingly the car always took the abuse and lasted him before he sold it.
