well I met quite a bit of people . Apex Sideways recognized us when I had just parked . Good seeing you guys. Now I know what you guys look like .

I wanted to meet Icemark, but again, he was not around. I am convinced he doesnt exist..

Only person I met for sure was Lil Red.. I talked to Ken for a little while, hung around vipers' car for a while but didn't introduce myself because there was a line (haha).

I was the young blonde kid with spikey hair wearing this shirt... Had the white FC with the V-mount right infront of the Mazdatrix stand.

Saw most of the regs....met Smeagol.

 

I met no one and brought my 4x4 (Ford/Mazda same thing). The hamburgers were good, I had two. I missed the first tech session, the second was boring. The vendors should have been on the side where the stage was. Also it was way smaller then I expected. The biggest was a few years ago. Didn't see Guru Racing, Pineapple Racing and all the small venders sellings screws, gadgets and whatever.

 

It didn't help that some moron booked SEMA the same time SS9 was scheduled for... don't they have any respect ???

 

How about the FIRE MARSHALL that gave a ticket towhoever parked in the red zone. yeah, inside the compound near Rene's RX-3.

I crumbled up my ticket and threw it on the ground but Anjew picked it up and put it on Lil Red's car.

 

Met Icemark (again, that week), Funkspectrum, Kory, Zach, BoostedRex, Cool As Crap, Wacky (very briefly, I was with Mark in the morning lineup), and a bunch more people I can recognize but not really remember their name.

 

yea i saw that too! i thought it was a joke at first, then i called him a dick...

 

I didnt think this year's Sevenstock was that great. The whole "rotaries only" thing was pretty stupid and I heard they even started popping hoods before letting people into the lot.

"NO! Your RX-7 is not welcomed so move your car so this Nissan, MGB, space ship looking car and other non-mazdas can come inside to this Mazda event."

Hopefully things will be a bit more organized and user friendly next year. Im surprised that guy handing out "tickets" didnt suffer a heart attack with all the stuff people yelled at him.

 

What "rotaries only" thing are you talking about? There were a few V8 7's there that I saw.

 

Yeah, that kinda sucked... they shouldn't have allowed them in.
