I am looking to get a set of bumpers rechromed. Anyone know of any good chrome shops in the San Fernando Valley, LA area?

Find a shop NOT in LA county. It will be alot cheaper due to enviroment laws in LAC. AZ would be even cheaper if you dont mind the shipping for the same reasons.

I recommend any of the belligheyrents. They are good in polishing.

I took some bumpers to Ontario metal polishing and the chrome came out good, but the straightenign job kind of sucked. But the bumpers were pretty bad off to start with so I guess they came out good for what they started off with.

Dave: A co-worker had some Harely Davidson parts done in Van Nuys and was happy with their work..I think its called Astro Plating, but I'm not sure..Off Sepulveda and Oxnard or Burbank...The co-worker is on vacation this week, so I have to get back to you on exact name and location..As far as the Polishing Shop, they wanted $85 a wheel to polish my SE wheels...Not bad considering a shop in North Hollywood wanted close to $200 a wheel...Don't know if they do chrome work...They are located up here in Newbury Park...

Yeah Fu, I had Alan polish up some engine parts, and they came out really nice. I didn't know he did chroming. I will give him a call and see what he can do.

Thanks Alvaro, I will check them out. If I can get them chromed for $450 or less it will be worth the drive.

Yeah, especially since his duece is a rolling chrome factory all unto itself. I bet I could just put my bumpers next to his car, and they would come out chiney.
