Where to buy Royal Purple in NorCal?

Looking to do some fluid (tranny & rear diff) changes and wanted to know where you guys get your Royal Purple from? I know of Vic Hubbard in San Leandro, but that's too far of a drive.

Anywhere in the Milpitas, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Fremont, Dublin, Concord area would be great.

I see royal purple at almost every Napa and Pep boys. I also remember Wal-Mart having some for sale as well. But it's only motor oil, no tranny fluid.

I was at WalMart the other day but didn't see any RP stuff, I forgot about Pep Boys, they're pretty big and usually stock up on a ton of ****. Going to check out Monument Car Parts as well.

Morgan's Machine and Marine in Walnut Creek was the other place I was trying to remember, haven't been there in years. But I think they're a little bit on the pricier side tho, oh well.

If you don't see it on the shelves ask because sometimes they just forget to rack them or can tell you where you can get it

I'm pretty sure Pep boys has it, off of Story in San Jose. Just try giving places a call before heading out.

Oh, btw. Congrats on the new ride. I'm jealous.

pretty much every autozone in Sacramento has it, but that doesn't really help you.

Gotelli in South San Francisco should have it. I recall getting Royal Purple and Redline gear oil there as well.

EDIT: Rotorsport in Santa Clara definitely has it. Almost always.

A lot of places may have Royal Purple but finding quarts in the viscosity you want is the hard part, I see a lot of 10w30 a lot of the times but 20w50 is hard to find

I don't like Royal Purple for diff fluid, it has too much additive in it and on worn out LSDs like mine it doesn't lock up as easily. Heavy gear oil is the best in that scenario.

I also prefer Red Line for transmission fluid over Royal Purple.

Give Paul a visit and talk to him about fluids:

Come next door and say hi if you are there.
