I've only used Snap-on (bluepoint) and to be completely honest, I think there's better. You can't go wrong with Craftsman, Mac, Matco etc.

FYI ALL bluepoint brand tools are now, and have been MADE IN CHINA for at least the last year or so.

thats right. Blue point isn't very good anyway its better to just break down pay the extra 40 bucks and buy the snap- on wich isnt that much better anyway.

and matco tools are made in mexico. i don't waste my money on the tool trucks anymore, you get the same quality tools from sears now with better service, it's sad.

just go with craftsman or a Sunpro timing light, they work fine.

I have used my cheapo kragen autoparts one for years. It has worked fine. Then I have also used an expensive snap-on one which has some fancy hold features as well as an rpm readout. Which my cheap one did not... Both allow me to set the timing just fine.

as for the matco tools truck i never buy from them except pocket screwdrivers because theyre never around.
the crafts man tools light works fine.

ive heard that the digital lights are better for cars where you cant see the timing marks on the crank pulley but thats not the case on rx's..

sears changed their waranty policy so ask your nearest retailer about what needs to be done for waranty repair or replace.
