Hoffbrause is more of a beer garden place to gather have a cold one and interact

err two girls one guy? if your so good maybe you can get the girls to pay lol.

Looks like most are staying on the strip or at the Rio. Rate really all depends on what you want in the place you are staying at

I believe we've got people coming in from 7 different states and the attendance seems to be upwards of 70 !

If your coming from Arizona, here is our departure route and schedule.

AZ to Vegas Caravan


We shall all meet at the McDonalds on the Carefree Hwy and the I-17 at 9:30am and depart at 10:00am Friday the 18th of June.

Total mileage from Carefree Hwy and I-17 to Sahara Hotel Las Vegas 273 mi – about 5 hours.

Eastside people can meet at the Fry's Electronics on Baseline and the I-10 at 8:30am. Depart at 8:45am for Carefree Hwy meet point.

Please be punctual as we would like to get underway promptly at 10:00am.
Please have a full tank when leaving the departure point. There is a Chevron right next to McDonalds. Our next stop will be in Kingman AZ.
Westside Chevron on the left side of HWY 93N/Beale Street. 171 miles from start point on Carefree Hwy. "B"
(For some reason I can not get the map to center on the gas station. So please note that it is on HWY 93 just right of the destination point "B")

Ok we are at 85 that have commited from several states

Announcement of the third annual Las Vegas "What Happens In Las Vegas" Meet. This event is open to all rotary vehicles

Date of the meet: June 18th and 19th, 2010

Update dicedealer is securing the Fiesta, they will be supplying a Banquet room as well as assignning security to the roof of the garage where all the cars will be parked ... no rotary no roof!!

Friday evening gathering: In & Out Burgers on West Sahara

Friday evening party: kart track secures that has food. $19.95 will get you an 1 1/2 hour bracelet, two slices of pizza and beverage. They will also be securing the cars so everyone can have fun, I beleive the section they will close off for parking is the easy to watch your car as well

Saturday drive meet point: In & Out Burgers on West Sahara 10am

"WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS MEET 2010"

You heard the stories, read the threads, seen the youtube videos. You know you want some!


We are posting early so that you can set this time aside. If you know your coming, let us know so we can plan.

To those of you that have not attended a Las Vegas meet, The over view will be:

Friday June 18th, 6pm - 8pm a general meet at the In & Out burger parking lot that will move to a place of libation and food at around 9am thru ?.

Saturday June 19th at 10am we will meet in a place yet to be announced for a drive in the Las Vegas area. The drive is usually about two hours in length and will end at a local Hotel for lunch. There will be a several hour break for rest, recreation and sight seeing. The party group (all that wish to attend) will meet at the Hoffbrahause for beer, food and friendship from 7pm until ?

This years drive will be close in to Las Vegas and will be on all paved roads (unless the state or county do their thing again this year), some narrow roads and some twisty roads and some freeway.

The weather will again this year be very warm but not blazing hot (yet). Be sure you carry drinking water, a hat, vehicle water and oil.

radiator exploded going up the hill

and

brakes failed coming down the hill, pedal went to the floor with 13,000lbs pushing me down the hill. only the left front brake was semi helping slow the truck down while the trailer was trying to jackknife me. RF rotor ate into the vanes in the rotor, that is how much metal was left after i made it to the bottom.



started out as a good rotor within spec. trailer brakes apparently weren't working by the that time.



and if anyone is interested in having any work done i should have some time free around when the event is going on. also if anyone needs any rebuilds done on spare motors, feel free to bring them with you.
