What is going on with Rotary shops in NorCal?
I called around today to find a shop that could back my 1100cc primary's back to 850cc. The first thing one shop said is, so I guess that's not street legal. They told me they only have 550cc stock injectors. I called all the other shops posted here on this forum, yes, I already searched, and got a similar response. If I was in SoCal, I would have no problem getting the work I need done and would have a choice of several shops to go to.
Here is what I need to do. Larger oil return line on my turbo, a GT40R, Cork Sport Installed an oil return line that was way too small. Move the output to the HKS AVC further up the turbo, Cork Sport installed it too low and it is not getting enough pressure. Switch out my Tial 46mm to an HKS 50 or 60mm to get rid of the boost creep I am getting with the Tial 46mm. It has the 4 bolt pattern so the new Tial 60mm vBand will not fit.
Seems like I am SOL with the shops in NorCal. I know there is one shop that someone told me about when I was at the tuning session with Steve Kan in Los Angeles, but I can't remember the name or find the card.
Anyone know of a shop up in San Francisco area that can handle this?

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
the CARB and state officials have been cracking down on non-legal modifications. Most shops have received a cease and desist letter from the state.

Rick would do the work, only if you tow the car to his shop and tow it out. He will make a note, stating customer's car was for off-road racing and not street-legal. So if you get pulled over, and or in trouble, he gets saved.
