What kind of coilovers are on there, Jay? I had JIC FLTA2s for awhile and I got pretty good at eyeballing the ride height. Nothing perfect, but at least it won't look too jacked.

i went into dino's work today on accident lol!
i went to the local chevy dealer to see if the new z06's were in and i start talking to the dude about LS1 swaps and he's like "do you know jay?" and from there i realized who he was =)

 

I'm so freaking pissed off at myself....

I raised the front suspension last night and I raised it too much now. Feels like I'm suspended in the air. On the flip side, it's never been this easy to get in and out of my car....

 

McCarthy Ranch, is that the place near the 237/880 junction? I moved to Fremont a couple of months ago to live with my girlfriend while I work contract at TiVo. I used to have an FB but now have an FC. Only other friends of mine who are semi-automotive interested is my other FC owning friend up in Chico and another friend up there also who just got a 240sx.

Anyway if I can find out where this place is I'd like to meet some more rotary owners in the area. ^^

 

I may show up...since i'm in the area now. It would be nice to meet some of the south bay rotorheads! I need to put more miles on my rebuild anyway!

Y'know, if you guys are already at McCarthy Ranch, there's the Hawaiian BBQ place (Mahalo) right across the street. That's always a good place to eat and not too pricey.

I'm new to this whole meeting up thing and was wondering do you guys just kind of loiter around your cars and hang out or go into the Starbucks to sit down and talk or what? I'd like to meet some more rx7 owners around here but also would like to minimize my appearing like a goon as much as possible. =P

 

Normally we hang out, talk about cars in the parking lot for awhile then grab some food at a local restaurant.

What time did you get there? A lot of people were there 7, 7:15ish and we hung out around the cars for about half an hour or so then went to the in-and-out.

Also that was fun guys, look forward to seeing you all next Wednesday!

 

Been nice meeting up with you guys this summer. Hopefully I'll see some of you at sevenstock. If not I'll see you next summer.
