I was sick all day, reason for later than usual posting.

We're gonna move it to Milpitas this week and see if we can gather more(or less) people to our meets.

I was going to the police station tomorrow to see if we could have sanctioned meets in Milpitas, but let me just tell you that a meet in Milpitas at the end of the month is asking for trouble (I got pulled over this morning in my work truck for no front plate ). Everyone better check there driving habits and keep their front plates on hand.

As far as dinner goes, how does sushi lovers sound?

SUSHI! Haha, looks like an all AZN night. Q-Cup and sushi: I'm totally down. I agree with jason on this one as far as cops in milpitas.. do you think I could get by just by my license plate in the window thing?

BTW jason, I got impatient and went out to buy the meguires stuff, but I dont have the other cleaning agents so that would be cool if you could bring it out.

 

wahhhh i don't have a front plate and i'm not looking for another ticket. any suggestions for a temp fix?

Double sided tape works just fine for a temporary mounting.

You think the double sided tape will work with a state ref? I have to go finish my fix it ticket junk.

 

Instead of a high profile asian place like Q-cup, we can move it to non-asian side of McCarthy Ranch.

I go to LS1 meets every thursday at Starbucks on every Thursday and we don't get hassled by cops at all.

What do you guys think?

Jason - I'll be there around 7:30, I'll go to Kripsy Kremes for about 15 min to see if anyone missed this post and decided to come. I'll gather people up and head over there.

 

hooray, i'm definatly gonna come, better in milpitas (gives me an excuse to drive :bighthumb We should meet at a starbucks or something. IMO Q-cup is terrible. But i'm good with anything.

Jay I think the reason you dont get hassled by cops is because ls1 meets usually have all american cars. Police dont hassle them as much. I'm all for Q-cup and sushi, though I'd be fine with just sushi :P

Lets just do it at the McCarthy Ranch starbucks... I have never seen a cop come by in all the times I have been out there, and I know the EVO guys go to the In-n-Out there. No reason to move somewhere that we have to worry.

Maybe we could roll down to red robin for dinner? Its over on Montegue.

Heh, I don't have a front plate period... it's a blue and yellow plate and i wouldn't even know how to get a replacement (and i'd be pissed if they make me run the white and blue plates)... keeps fingers crossed...

Damn that is about 15-20 mins further for me, oh well i'll still try to make it. Oh and what about if you bought your car with no front plate like I did? Can they still pull me over?

My manager is really messing me up. He told me I was only working till 7 then he told me 8 now 8:30 so I don't know if I can go..........BUT I'm gonna try to convince him that he's messing me up and that I need to get off at 7 so if I can convince him then I'll be there. He even screwed up my Friday scheduale and keeps schedualing me on class days !!!!!! I need to talk to him about this

 

well met all, i'll be coming to the meet for the first time, and hopefully not the last time tomorrow, alvin is gonna show me around hehe =)

 

I'll be there for sure this week but I won't be bringing my RX-7. You'll see what it is.

Hehe, I like how these meets are moving closer and closer to my house in Fremont. If you WANT there is a new Tapioca Express in Fremont by the Auto Mall, hehe. There is actually going to be a HUGE meet there on the 3rd you guys should come.

cool milpitas is way closer to me

caseys car still looks ok and will be fixed by next wednesday, destroyed brakes and control arm and endlink, etc hehe. in the pics notice that after hitting a curb going at around 40mph and launching the nose of the car up about 10ft the rims are still intact and round while the brake disc shattered....very impressive wheels
