I secound the no no no on a uhaul, my bro's 53 ford pickup was totalled because the framing bolts on the trailer were loose,as well as the lugnuts, this was on the Police report of the accident, but uhaul refused to give him a dime, he was out close to 40k( besides the fact it was his past father's truck) with the lawyer fees and all to get uhaul in court. They finally settled for 11k + his lawyer. FU UHAUL just sharing an exsperance so you don't get screwed.

solcalrotor, sorry to hear about that truck man! you got a picture, I LOVE 53-56 F100s, I'm surprise that even with a lawyer that you can't get uhaul to pay more.

not my truck, my close bro's who moved to AZ, Didn't get more because we did most of the work ourself. So we had to get it aprased for valve because we didn't have more than 9500 in reciepts. It was a heart breaker neadless to say, Truck was an F100 with full boxed frame 406 SBC ( when thru 7 ford motors, but never blew up the old flathead) on NOS rear 9" front a arm coilover 4l80E trans, looked all stock till you popped the hood. sorry no pics this all happended 4 years back. BTW Rider trucks aren't much better.
