You should get in touch with HowardColeman about making your car more stable at higher speeds. He may be the most qualified person on the subject of racing RX-3s on this board. Im sure he has tons of knowledge that he's willing to share

I need more horsies for the oval. I didnt have much problem in the infield with the high HP cars but once the oval came, all the vipers, porsches and that crazy fast white lotus flew by me like I was standing still

My cousin's car is a HP monster! It's currently the fastest sedan on the market. I was amazed at how fast it reached 140mph. I think its safe to say that his car is fully broken in now

Cool those Ford GT guys were nice, there was a whole lot of horsepower on the track that day! Lots of cool cars.

And regarding the horsepower comments from Wan, I think that track setup with the roval really shows the difference big HP makes on a straightaway. I agree that it doesn't necessarily translate to faster lap times... it would be interesting to look at the lap times whenever they post them.

In other news, I was at Auto-X that day, it was fun too I posted some video on youtube that should be uploaded fully tonight. Don't expect too much, it's kind of boring, I'm not an expert driver See link in my sig. I'll try to get my **** together so I can come out on the track next Spring with ya'll.
Thanks man...Juan is right the high hp kicked butt in the straight they left us in the dust. But you wont see any numbers from our little group since none of us got the transponder. This is actually my first time out on the track and I was fortunate enough to go with the more season driver and learn some stuff from them. Thanks to Juan and Fris.

Nice little video not boring at all, I'll have to try autoX next year looks like fun.

In his defense, he doesn't go to track days because there's something wrong with his wrists

That's awesome, great driving. What color group were you in that day? I want to look at pics of your car posted on the pro photog website but don't feel like sorting thru all color groups. I don't see why you need any more hp when you're passing other people I think you def. need to change out that IC, though I bet you get 10 hp just out of doing that, not to mention more safety margin.

Also, an acquaintance of mine took an out of car video of a couple of Auto-x runs, here is one you guys can check out.

I was in the blue group (intermediate). I need more power for the straight sections. I'll post a video of me getting passed up by Porsche's & Vipers on the straights to show my lack of power. I think I just need a little bit more HP to at least make them struggle a bit to pass me. I'll put up a few more videos of that day in the next days. I just need the Holidays to settle down a bit.

I'm on the lookout for a good deal on an intercooler. Maybe an ebay special will do? What intercooler are you running?

I thought it looked kinda boring waiting for my slow car to get out of the roval so I sped it up I'm using a point & shoot Panasonic DMC-TZ1 mounted on an IO Port camera mount bolted to my rear strut tower bar. I use a high speed 2 gig card to record and it works perfectly. It's my dads camera that I borrow for track days. I'm looking at getting a GoPro HD camera to replace my dads camera. I use Sony Vegas to edit the videos. I'm still learning how to mess with it.
