TII swap in the SF Bay Area?

After much consideration, I've decided to spend the money and do a TII swap into my 91 coupe. I've done a couple of searches, but I've come up short.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a shop that can perform the swap for me?
I live in Santa Cruz, so the San Jose/Milpitas area would be better than Sacto, since my car's blowing huge clouds of smoke,so I'll be towing it..

I was thinkin' more like a shop, like Rick's Rotary, but he doesn't do swaps. Thanks for the offer, though.

I'll let you have the intake for $75 shipped if your still interested. Just shoot me a PM with your address.

^^^LOL I remember last fall you told me you were trying. I was gonna ask you if it was still ok so I can rebuild my old NA. I don't have a suggestion for a rebuilder in the south bay. I would look up north or maybe even Rick's. I was thinking about checking them out back in the day. I still want too since my office is in Pleasanton. I just never make the time. I don't think Ivan likes doing coversions. But I haven't talked him in like 5 years and back then he did a r&r for me on my s4 and he told me he would rather do them for FD's. Maybe things have changed since then.

UPDATE: While at my mechanic, asking about the swap, one of his employees offered to sell me his Montego Blue '93 for 6000 bucks. It smokes a little at start up, but other than that and a few dings and scratches, it's in good shape.

Way to throw a wrench into my plan!!

Try PR Motorsports in Hayward. Just come up 17 to 880 and it's right off of W. Winton ave. Guys are really nice there and professional. Not sure if they do swaps, but wouldn't hurt to ask....

swaps are very easy to do. and doing an s5 t2 swap into a s5 n/a is like swaping a s5n/a engine to a s5 n/a car. shops will charge you a lot of money for labor not because its hard but just because it takes time and labor rates are pretty pricey. also do you know if you are going to run a t2 drivetrain? if you are it tends to be kind of hard to find a full drive train.

Thanks for the link and info.
I've actually thought about trying PR... the guys over at the Miata club swear by 'em.

I agree about the S5 drive train. I think my best bet would be to find a JDM engine/tranny and maybe get a Microtech or Haltech to control it. I see S5 TII rear ends/LSDs once in a while on c/l and around here, and the FC's not my d.d., so I could probably wait and do it right

That would be the end of smoggability though...

O well, I hope this FD deal works out, then I'll probably just rebuild the NA motor and sell the FC...*sigh* I love this car, too. I also have a feeling buying an FD with the original 135k motor/tranny/turbos may be opening a can of worms. [/confusion]
