I haven't posted here in a LONG time cause I sold an FC and got a Miata for a track car. I went to this event last year and had a sh!tload of fun. The guy holding it asked if I am on any forums to spread the word, so here I am. No affiliation w/him, just a fun event w/LOTS of track time for the money.

Here's a review I wrote right after the event:

*REVIEW*
I attended this event and just thought I'd give a short review. I only participated in the grip sessions so no review on the drift.

Good:
1) Plenty of track time, 6 30min sessions + something like 30min of open track at the end. All for a grand total of $156.19. I have never attended an event for that price w/that much track time.
2) There was only 15 I think, in the grip group. Very little traffic.
3) Having a mini course and skidpad helps pass the time inbetween sessions.
4) Having never been to a drift sponsored event, it was interesting to see different cars and ppl. I was suprised, no offense Bonni, to see chicks. And I say chicks because they were a handful of young women driving/watching. I took my gf, and she said, "well, you go to an import event of course gonna have a lot of import chicks!"

Bad:
1) 30min sessions + ~108 degree heat = overheating for me. I had to do cool down laps during the session.
2) Quite a few beginners. Everyone was lumped together in either A(grip) or B(drift) group. No further breakdown into groups from there. Because of this there could be a noob and a track rat sharing the track. Honestly is was never really a problem, as everyone was pretty safe and not letting ego get the best of them. In fact sometimes I think ppl were TOO nice. Like actually hitting the brakes to point my by at places like....8-9.
3) No formal instruction. I can understand that for the price that an instructor might be asking for a lot, but considering the number of new drivers it would have been nice.

All in all I had a great time. I would highly recommend it for someone who's familiar w/the track and wants to get a LOT of track time for the money.
