I'm stuck here with family untill thursday at the Embassy suites near the airport....can anyone recommend anything to do? I'm going to visit Chuck at Rotary EX later today and Alcatraz on like Wed.

japantown off of gerry street, or geary street or whatever the name it is. They've got a japanese book store with option young version and hyper rev mags. They've also got some cool lil' stores.

Just put on your walking shoes and head out. There is alot of nooks and crannies that only walking can find

 

I went to the Sake brewery i guess you could call it the other day, which was pretty cool...but so far this place is pretty boring

 

yeah pretty much during the day its a quiet city mainly made of tourist traps. you need to go out at night, check out market street and see if anythign there bites your interest

 

Pretty much during the weekdays this city is as dead Bush's brain.
But you can give fillmore and lombard a try...plenty of happening bars.
Lots of good food around also if you just poke around.
Mas Sake on Lombard between webster and fillmore is a place where you can see HOT!!! chicks serve you food and sake bombs!

ps: bring your $1's...also if your looking for some pizza give north beach pizza a try, there are a bunch of them around but i usually goto the one off of broadway.

 

sorry my ideals reflex of someone young because i am.i dont know if u drove ur seven but u can go to the runs. you can go to stone town mall or serriamonte mall. theres a casino off the serramonte exit, its called "lucky changes" what city is fun on mon/tues except vegas/reno/tahoe?

 

Yea most of it's touristy. Shopping... shopping.... ..shopping.. ....parks.. ...monuments. ... did I mention more shopping.

I usually only go there to eat dinner and shop with my girlfriend, that or show foreigners around the city. I don't really go out to the clubs that often. plus I'm 18 so I can't drink yet

 

I'm 21 so I can drink, but I'm not too worried about it. I went to a place called the Steel Head brewery it was pretty cool, good beer too.

 

Larry Flint's Club! Coitus Tower! China Town. Go eat at the Stinkin' Rose, nobody will want to be around you for a few days!
