So as I promised some of you at the last tune I would bring Steve back fairly soon I am... Its set for Sept. 13-14,15 still waiting for Steve to verbally confirm it with me but it is posted on his calender. Dont know yet if Steve is staying all three days or just two I will find out for you guys... As of right now I believe there are 3 spots already being taken so we are looking for another 5 people unless I confirm Steve is staying for three days in which we will be taking another 9 cars... Post if you are interested we will more than likely be using REDZONE PERFORMANCE again for the dyno I will confirm with them and get an update on their rates. If you choose to get a street tune it is at your own risk and all liabilitly will be on the owner of the car.

Here is Steve's price table...

$350 - Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket turbo up to 20psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - aftermarket turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

Deposits of $206 will be taken as soon as you are confimed and on the list. The extra $6 is to cover the paypal fees not to be apply to your remainder. Please post here and I will put you on the list, deposits are due no later than AUG, 24.

The remainder will be due to Steve in CASH on the day of the tune... All Dyno time used is a seperate charge and will be due to REDZONE PERFORMANCE at the conclusion of your tune and is as well due in CASH NO CREDIT OR CHECKS...

And for you who are going to ask the inevitable...
What do I need to do to prepare my car for the tune?

Please replace the following:
Fuel filter
Spark plugs + wires (If your running 14+ pounds of boost, or tuning with race gas. Please install race plugs.)
Clean or replace air filter.
Please have all modifications installed properly. It will only waste time if Steve has to track down vacuum leaks and troubleshoot other issues. So please have the car in good running shape before the tune. Please ohhh please head warning to this. I understand problems happen but if you know of a problem and you need help and are set to tune please bring it up prior to being on the dyno and arrive early. I would be glad to help anyone who needs it, please not doing so will take away from other peoples dyno time and cost you more in the end. If this is the case please bring tools none will be provided for you.

Redzone is in Fremont, not San Jose. How much is dyno cost? $60/hr ?

 

I just called them and set it up... It is going to be at Redzone we are goign to talk about the price structure as soon as I find out how many cars we are going to be doing. I am still waiting on Steve to verify if its going to be 2 or 3 days.

I work Mon-Fri and don't get home till 5pm.

 

Nothing is set in stone yet and i will try to move stuff around to figure out the best possible outcome... I will be PMing everyone to get contact info, tuning info, and where you are coming from and I will make a better schedual... I know everyone has a busy schedual and i promise I will get everything up as soon as possible as to be able to request time off if needed. I have been to about 5 tunes now and have a pretty good idea as to how long your car is going to take. Just to be fair the people driving the farthest will get priority on there tune date and time... Also set-ups which I seem to be complicated and i know will take longer will more likely be put first in the day. Unfortunately I can see not everyone is goign to get axactly what they want since not everyone can go Sat. Sun. but I will my best to try and accomidate everyone the best I can. Also I will have dyno info next week on monday so I can give you guys a price idea.
