Steve Kan Dyno Tune So Cal
I will be having Steve Kan down to tune my car in So. Cal. early 2008. Currently 2 dates are being tossed around. The last week of January, or the first week of March. I am leaning towards the first week of March, so that I do not cut it too close with having my car finished.
The Dyno is set up and ready to go for whichever weekend we choose. It is a dynojet with load bearing capability, I.E. magnetic brake. This will allow Steve to tune under load, just like a real road tune. The shop is located in the San Fernando Valley. I will give the exact location once the dates are finaled.
Prices for the tune are directly from the Steve Kan sub forum:
$350 - Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - aftermarket turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - aftermarket turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - aftermarket turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps
Here is the estimated time frame allocated for each type of tuning.
1) stock turbo - 45 mins - 1.5 hrs
2) aftermarket turbo (pump gas) 1hr - 2.5 hrs
3) aftermarket turbo (race gas and/or auxiliary injection) 2 - 4hrs
4) aftermarket turbo (2 maps) 3-6 hrs
Dyno time pricing is as follows.
1) +150
2) +150
3) +200
4) +250
You will need a bung for an 02 sensor for wideband purposes. If you do not have one, or do not want to put another in, you can use the shops for a $15 dollar charge. No race gas on the shops wideband!
If you are interested, please post up your screen name. As soon as the date is finalized, I will begin accepting deposits (50%). Sign up will be on a first come first serve basis. Deposits will be non refundable. If you need to back out, I will do everything I can to help you sell your spot, but no guarantees. Complete payment will be due at least 2 weeks before the actual tune.

I will definelty shoot for the January time frame. It is going to be tight but, I think doable. I talked to Steve tonight, and he is going to email me the exact date. I am guessing the weekend of the 26th and 27th. If we have enough cars we can add a day.
As soon as I here back from him, I will start accepting deposits to lock up your spot.
