ON THE 22ND OF FEBRUARY!!!!!!!!!!!

So me and my friends have been trying to plan a canyon run over here. Its the 33 Highway in Ojai. The Meeting Point would be at the Kmart Parking lot in Santa Paula, right on the Peck Rd. (895 Faulkner Rd. for the mapquest) After meeting at Kmart we will head on the 126 Freeway, and Merge on the SR 150 and then after that merge onto SR 33..
We do not have a set date or time yet. Thats why this is a Gathering Interest thread. We want to do it sometime within the next month. We just need to know days people are willing to make the trip, and the times they are available. We want a good turnout and we would like many of you guys to go, no matter what youll be driving.

We will most likely go up it thru all the twisties, and come back down when the twisties end. From there we can go on the freeway to Ventura, there is beaches, restaurants, and other crap we can do, just incase anyone wants to go eat or just chill somewhere after driving.

The 33 is filled with beatiful scenery, smooth(brand new road) turns, high cliffs, tunnels, and a waterfall. It's a Canyon Road to get to a Canyon Road. Here are a couple of pictures and videos of the 33 Highway incase anyones interested....

Highway 33 is an awesome drive! I was out there last October on my CBR with 2 friends, it kinda sucked though cause there were a lot of CHPs and emergency vehicles...we saw two wrecked bikes just on the way up. I wish I was closer, I'd come out for this cruise.

 

I love the 33. Good time of year to do it, **** gets too hot up there in the summer. I took these there a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, the meeting place blue s5 mentioned (Santa Paula) is about 15min from Ventura and Oxnard.

 

yup. and there are people coming from other forums as well. from zilvia.net, nicoclub.com, club roadster, 3si and some other forums. we always have a great time doing this and its been a while so we decided to have this one.

 

Sweet, I think I can make this if all goes well...Im having some annoying overheating issues and some DMV stuff to clear up...so wack.
