Funny you should ask that P. My gf and I were talking about that the other day. I was explaining to her that once a year is quite a long time for us to meet. I was thinking about meeting every 6 months or so.
Instead of the usual TGIF, there is a place right off the 60E freeway called the International Buffet in Monterey Park/Montebello that could be a possible venue for the next beater meet.
The Belligerents and I have tested the buffet out and it was surprisingly good or maybe we were just very hungry? Anyhow, the food is decent and the price is cheap, $5 if I could remember.
