i was talking to a few members about this movie at 7stock. i told them i would upload it. well here it is. i dont think i am violating any MPAA laws as this is a non-america production movie so i should be good to post it here.

before watching it, let me warn you that this not the best movie, the racing scenes are all CG and they're crap. however, because we are RX7 owners, it made this movie that much better! do not watch it for the race scenes, i watched it for the story and ofcourse for the rotaries. At the end, we hear the sweet sound of the rotary engine and i almost teared. yes, tears of joy!

it comes with english subtitles. if you cant see the subtitles for any reason. use VLC player, or download CCCP.

I use to have it. Then I destroyed it for having the worst subtitle translations ever. The funniest scenes are when they are beating up the euro guy and it's incredibly fake and when the people watching jump around like monkeys after a race has been won.

 

not sure which subtitles u had, but mine was watchable

 

not sure i watched it with subtitles since i dled it when it first came out.. thought it was silly and deleted it.. might be worth it to watch it again and understand whats going on lol thx

the wangan midnight movie just came out in theaters cant wait til that hits the net

im aware that im late, but i just watched both speed master and the wangan movie last night.
both movies were great
yea speed master is all cgi, but overall a good movie
and the wangan movie, was just awesome

I saw this a few months ago, not bad, not great but OK. I just wished it had more races.

 

shuto kousoku trial 5 is probably a better movie. atleast they used real cars back then in 1993.

 

Awesome way to dig up an old thread I've been trying to dl this movie since it was brought up in the other thread 200MPH. but torrent has sucked. I'm trying to get hold of the wangan movie and what is this other movie you speak of "Shuto Kousoku trial 5"

 

oh there is 6 of them. they were made in the late 80s and the early 90s. Japanese highway and mountain racing. they are awesome (little bit cheesy) nostalgic as though. and from part 2 to 6 they have keiichi tsuchiya "the drift king" in them. part 4 has one race with a fc and then part 5 the main character rocks an fc til near the end when he buys a brand new fd. it was made in 93.

 

i have them all and the wangan movie but my hdd just gave up. so im gonna have to pull it apart and try sort it out. it took me so long to find good torrents for them too, im real gutted
