Space, The Lack Thereof

So my 13b needs a rebuild. I've finally talked myself into doing it myself for a couple of reasons. 1) It's cheaper and 2) I really want to do it myself. I guess I'm a DIY fan.

The only problem is that where I live there's not anywhere logical to pull the motor. I've got a little parking spot but the landlord ain't gonna let me pull the engine there. Could do it on the street..UGH Streets of LA!?

SO surely someone else has ran into this problem before in the LA area. Anyone have any luck with renting a UHaul Storage spot or anything like that? Just trying to brain storm at this point and any suggestions would be GREALY appreciated.

And before you ask, no I don't got any friends in LA with any space. So that option is nill.

Just rent out a public storage place. I think there's actually a few people on this forum who have worked on/built their cars in a storage unit.

i would probably just ask the attendants if it is ok to do the work in a storage facility first before renting one or you may have to be discreet about it since there is some insurance issues there.

I'll look into the storage unit option. Thanks!
