Ok guys, I have been in touch with Steve Kan and Gazo @ J&G auto and confirmed April 27th (Saturday) and 28th (Sunday) for tune days. We will need at least 8 cars to have a 2 day event, ideally 10.

Im sure most of you guys are familiar with the drill, I need $200 deposits from everyone and we wont be able to lock in the dates until I have at least 5 cars w/ there deposits paid. Along with deposits I NEED to you your car/tune info. e.g stock twins or single, psi, pump gas, ecu, etc.

Steve's going rates are:

$350 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

J&G Auto's dyno time cost will be $180-$200 depending your tune time. Stock turbos will be $180. Gazo specifically told me to emphasize everyone who is tuning to please double check all your fluids, lines and body accessories which may interfere with the dyno. Last time we wasted many hours taking off diffusers and such. There will be a $45 charge for re-strapping the car to the dyno for any reason and/or for removal of diffusers, body parts, etc. So best come prepared to not waste money!

In order to keep this as organized as possible, priority to tune time will be given to those you pay the deposit first. So please post to this thread when you pay and add your name and car info to the list which you will create. Its better that we all post so everyone can see what is going on. Once we have a decent car count and know if we are doing a 2day tune session or not, we will begin adding names to the tune time list accordingly. Tuning will begin at 9am.

Guys steve needs a deposit 4 weeks in advance. Nobody is interested in tuning? These threads used to be pretty hot

 

Yeah when the economy didnt suck and we didnt have sky rocketing taxes, i might be interested though if we get enough people.

 

OK guys, so far we have 4 cars. Among those, Gazo will be tuning his 20b monster and I will be tuning my TD61 setup.

 

I will pay my deposit on the 10th if this is going down. I just hope to have a couple things taken care of before the 27th.

 

Excellent. Steve wants a 4 week advance so the sooner the deposits are in the better.

 

Slowly getting local cars in, not really anyone from the forums however. We are already almost a month away so please post here if you are interested.

Whats the deadline for the deposit? I'm very interested but I need to make sure my car is ready to be tuned first

 

Steve does tune Rtek. He's done it before and I'm sure he still does it. Deadline for deposits is going to be this Sunday. If we dont get enough people in by then the whole thing will be canceled unfortunately.

 

** IMPORTANT UPDATE***

A few cars have dropped and we are at 3 cars now with deposits paid. If 2 more cars dont pay the deposit and secure a spot BY THIS COMING MONDAY (March 25th) the tune session will be canceled. If we get 2 more cars, all things will be a go.

Please post here with your updates so others know. If you send me a deposit and the tune session is canceled I will refund you in full.

 

I sent my deposit just now. I just hope we can get 1 more person to front the deposit so this goes down.
