SF BAY AREA: looking for a FD to test our new 22w LED headlight bulbs

whats up guys, we just received our newest product, 22w LED headlight kit, a great alternative to HID kits

since my car is torn apart and i have sleek headlights, i'm looking for a local forum member who has a FD with stock flip headlights where i can install and test/demo these for photo purposes

you would be compensated for your time with:
1) discounted price for the 22w LED headlights
or
2) a free set of our package 2 interior LED conversion kit

installation will take place in san francisco, if you're interested, please send me a PM with your contact information, you would need to be available during the times of 6-9pm so it would be dark enough to see the light comparison

here's some info on the kits

available in H4/9003 H7 H11 9005 9006 bulb sizes

BRAND NEW ITEM ON THE MARKET!!! AUTOMATION LIGHTING IS ONE OF THE FIRST TO BRING THIS TO YOU, 22w LED high power headlight bulb, made with a genuine Samsung LED chip.

This is a true plug n play set up, no wiring, no ballast, no ignitor, that means no flickering, no warm up time, no bulkiness.

Everything you see is what you need to get it installed. Color is ONLY available in 4300k OEM HID color, and these have an output of 1200LM/bulb. For comparison numbers, OEM halogen bulbs have an output of 600-800LM/bulb, and most HID kits have an output of about 1500LM/bulb.

Installed on a 2000 Honda Civic (non-projector housing)

Installed on a 2013 Lexus CT200h (projector housing)

Installed on a 2010 Honda Odyssey (non-projector housing)

Installed on a 2013 Scion FR-S (projector housing)

How hard would these be to install for someone with little electrical experience (was able to successfully replace headlight bulbs.. That's about it)?

Someone please lend their FD for this! I would if I were in the area..

If you've ever installed a plug n play HID kit, this is even easier, no ballast or components to hide or tuck away, just replace the bulb, connect the adapter wiring to the stock headlight plug and you're ready to go

When would you need someone? I'm generally limited to weekends and this weekend is a no-go.

Yes, I did them on RXSpeed16's car today, here are some pics and a simple DIY

Comparison between OEM 55w (LEFT) and automationLED 22w LED (RIGHT)

First thing you do is raise the headlights up and remove the 4 philips screws that hold the black plastic trim

Then loosen, but do not remove, the 4 philips screws that hold the headlight lid

This is what you should be seeing now, simply unplug the factory bulb, remove the rubber grommet, remove the bulb and place it aside, install the new 22w LED headlight bulb, re-install the rubber grommet, connect the wires for the LED headlight, peel the double sided tape and stick the driver to some where flat. Reinstallation of the covers are opposite as removal process.

Thanks AutomationLED!!! Install went great and the lights are a noticeable improvement over stock. He did my interior lights too, but I didn't get pictures of those yet. I'm very happy with these light upgrades!

I like the bulb color because it is a clean, white light. None of the bluish/purple tint you get with a lot of HID bulbs. The beam has a good cutoff, very similar to stock.

One note though, I am using the stock housings with the built in diffusers. If you want a more light output, you can go with a clear housing.

Install was a breeze and everything fits inside the headlight assembly. No more unsightly ballasts or extra wiring needed.

Here's a picture of the bulbs at night. Notice the difference in color between the parking lamps and the headlight bulbs.

Here's a picture of the lights shining on a wall from about 5 feet away. The beam cutoff is quite clean.

I'll try to get a few more with a side-by-side comparison.

Thanks for doing this guys! Any chance you can take a picture of headlights shining a wall from 25 feet away? The reason I ask is because this is the standard distance used to realign headlights.

When I select H4/9003 it says single beam only. Does that mean these have no Hi/low? Only lows all the time?

Yes I believe you will be losing the high-beam function.

RXSpeed16, any chance you were able to get some night-time pics of the beam pattern against a wall from 25 feet away?

Parking lines in there so you'd have a rough sense of scale. My camera phone struggled with this one. An empty pitch black wall is harder to find than I thought.

It's very similar to stock, just brighter. Normal beams.

Yes, the H4/9003 bulb is the only bulb that loses the high beam feature.

The other H7, H11, 9005 and 9006 bulbs are normally single beam kits.
