well spent most of this weekend with Lil Red and Guitarjunkie at Fris shop LUCKY 7 RACING

hopefully ill get the 7 up and running before friday i ordered a crap load of parts from mazdatrix and got some custom weld done up for my fmic

october 15 will be my rebuild date if all goes well and i am gonna try to get a stand alone soon

hey I need a passenger side window switch, for my s4 TII is that one the same, or I dont even know if S5 is different if it was, how much?, or trade do you need any parts?

Damnit also my slave cylinder went out recently does any one got a extra new one?, or a used working one for cheap, as usuall latley I have to work on saturday but I just might be able to come by for a minuet

holy crap i was getting parts today in riverside and got off on the wrong st. and i saw on a side st 5 rx7s for sale, then went off on a st behind it and found 4 more + from what i see a rx4, holy crap is was a dream come true now i have to find a place for a couple of them

if u r going north bound on the 215 get off at market, keep going right going over the aqua duct then a go cart track on the left hand side and then u will see the 5 cars just past the track, i saw 1 white 79-80 a 2nd gen and a gsl in the pic. on the side st n a another field i saw 4 more sevens + arx4 from what i can tell. good luck guys

 

dave dropped off my new motor last night... sweet! also got my 1.00ar divided hotside for my turbo, and my modified fd turbo header..... now everything is going uphill! also ordered mazdaspeed engine mounts....

el nene7... sweet.. so the rebuild is scheduled for ocy 15th? will it be ready for 7stock9? also, dave and i decided that im gonna put the motor in, then send my car up to friz's shop so dave can wrap her up.. install the microtech, alcohol injection, blah blah blah..... basically do everything... if anyone can have my car ready for 7stock, its dave... so i feel alot more confident now that she will be ready

casey... sucks you had to sell the rx2..... would have been a fun project..... dont really agree w/ you doing it, especially now that you have a 2 car garage! but oh well.... and well be working on the car this weekend if your free!

 

I know you dont I must admit working on the RX-2 was kinda fun. that brap brap brap is sure sounding good! the reason for selling is that I have not touched the car since I got it, and more then anything witht he purchace of the new house I just dont have the money for two toys. I intend to keep running the RX-8, and we both know how much those tires are, and the cost of running it. and although the car could have been a liot of fun. it was a little more of a project then I wanted to take on. it would require a lot to make it "real nice"

nice to see your project is snowballing uphill. that is always a good feeling. you start getting gitty, and smiling like a 12 year old school girl.... yeah I know the feeling. but then I allways get shot down in a blazing infirno.

 

you should rattle can the engine cay and we'll have this week's meet at your house to install the engine

 

lol... dont i wish! actually, i have to wait for my motor mounts to come in..... then i can install the motor.... so on sunday, ill get the bay all painted up, put the booster and master cylinder back on, all the crap i took off of the fender wells, and get it ready for install... also, finish cleaning all the remaining parts that are going back on.....

sweet.... thats up to dave, but my philosophy is the more the merrier (as long as i personally know each person)...... im sure hed like the help.... ill be up there as much as i can... which is only sundays and mondays

 

yeah no doubt as soon as fris gets more space i will begin Daves bodywork so anything i can do to help count me in i am about to throw in all these new gaskets and my turbo back in tonight and get here running

 

coolness. we gotta plug through jj's fd this weekend and see how far we can get. then when his gaskets arrive, we'll see if we can have it running by next weekend. after that, it's some guy's (i forgot his name) fd for the same thing... then cameron's fd, jesse's car, and misc stuff on the rx8 simultaneously.

na, i didn't forget you. i can squeeze in rebuilds anytime--it's just the whole cars i was listing. otherwise that list would be a LOT longer
