anybody here have a impact rated socket for the nut on the flywheel. I believe it is 2 1/8

sure enough, when I pulled the motor I looked down on the bellhousing and there lay a plug.

jesse by the way your friend didn't tighten the engine to the tranny.

 

Guys, that run was quite an experience for me. I've never driven my car like that. It was like hell ya then oh sh%t like 15 times. It was great. I was in the white fc and the two eclipse cars were my brothers. The grey one is my brother in the Navy that just happened to be on leave from Japan for this past weekend. So he probably wont be back for another meet. But he told me that he was glad he came along. The black GST is my little brother and he said he heard a clacking sound coming from his right front wheel after hitting a pothole. So , he didn't want to chance anything and limped home. He was kinda bumed out because he was really looking forward to this run all month and he just bought that car. Sorry that we couldn't meet at lunch but my brother had to change the dates on his flight ticket to Hawaii (his next duty sation) in downtown LA. Hopefully next time.

sounds like i missed a good meet, but on a lighter note, the rx4 has fresh oil and got to run on sat, rolled by 2 cops and they did nothing in a car that is louder than a harley. also tuned the car b to it wasnt running lean. hopefully next time

just bought a used pressure washer to clean out the car but I don't know what kind of chemical is safe to use with it. can I just use dish soap for the motor.

 

Simple green+ Pressure washer= win

Looks like crap, but I know I'll be eating those words when he gets a paint job.

Lets pretend he had all those stowed away in his garage, waiting for enough money for paint, but got in an accident a couple days before that ruined his bumpers and all that. So he decided it was best to just slap those on.

 

LOL, yeah it will deffinitly look good finished, but why not wait until then to put them on.

Hey Jessie, I went down to Tuning tech today. Spoke with Jenn, and Nick. Cool people, I was looking at Meth, clutch and a TUNE. I'm really interested in the Meth Kit, specially with the fail safes in place. When are you getting yours done?? Ready for a new test run on FWY!
