I want to judge the support we get from SD. So far the plan is a beach somewhere in the middle between LA and SD. Than way we can get the best crowd. If the SD crowd is weak, then I was thinking one of the beaches by LAX. There is a huge lot and fire pits on the beach that are cool to fill up and hang out into the night.

The SD crowd is sorta split up into 2. some post here and other stay mainly on the yahoo forum they have goin on. maybe mel can birng this up over there or i will bring it up at our next 1st saturday meet to see whos interested in the trek.

I and several others have already made a donation to help support RXTuner. So if you can't make it to this BBQ, but still want to help support Ryan and RXTuner who've had some unfortunate problems with their vendor advertising I'm sure they'd appreciate any contribution no matter how small.

I was thinking of a nice spot half way between SD and LA. That way we can get BOTH metro crews togther for a great day. We got a badass smoker/bbq so we can stuff ourselfs in the sun.
