SoCal RX Club- Annual Beach BBQ - 11am
#79
Hey Wacky, we KNOW you ain't showing up, but J-Ro, Roy and I are definitely going to be there with a BBQ! Yes, it was a bit of bad planning, but we're going to throw the football around anyhows.
For those folks who are planning on attending, please do! We'll be at the usual spot at Bolsa Chica, sans Rotaries because we have to haul stuff there.
mmmmm burgers, I might even drop some bacon on the grillzo!

Nevermind...I went to SoCalRXclub.org and got this excerpt for last year's shindig:
It's a little tricky at first, because when you get to the Pacific Coast and Warner intersection, it looks like there is an entrance right there, but it's actually only an exit. From Warner, you need to make a left onto PCH (south) and go down approximately a 1/2 mile or so, to the first beach entrance on the right. Once in the parking lot, you will basically be backtracking on the other side (beach side) of the fence to the northern most parking lot.
I think I got it.

I drove down (east) and up (west) the parking lots from Beach down to Brookhurst TWICE, and then the other entrance going west of Beach TWICE and the only Wankle car I could find was a single RX8. I could NOT find you guys.
Sorry I missed you all.

What the heck does "BI ROTOR" mean?
Yeah, I was disappointed on the turnout, but the BBQ carne asada, cookies, etc. was grub. Thanks Jeremy, Rich, Will, and everyone else! Everyone's cars are broken I guess...
