The only way to Ojai from santa paula is 150, unless you take 126 to ventura to 33 to Ojai.150 is closed at St thomas college.

Hwy 33 above Ojai is closed as the road is washed out in various locations, a large section
is gone at halfway station on the other side of pine mountian.

Last time I drove by, Balcom Canyon is still closed. Grimes Canyon could be used instead to get to Santa Paula.

Ok folks the 2005 annual run has been postponed due to road conditions. A few guys and myself drove as much of the route starting in Thousand Oaks. We found conditions to be poor. Lane closures, road closures , rocks and lot's of dirt. We looked at alternates thought Angeles Crest and north/east of Castaic. Same story.. Safety and being able to really enjoy the drive are our concerns!
Let's let our tax paying dollars really go to work. We hope the folks at CALTRANS will have things in pretty good shape by fall. Keep an eye out for updates.
Till then the SoCal RX Club is bringing you several kick a** events. We hope to see you all there. Please visit www.socalrxclub.org

Thanks for the update LC.

For all those who have already cleared their calendar, me and my friends will still be meeting @ GP and will still cruise some of Angeles Crest that I know for sure is still open. There are a couple spots with 20+ parking spots for a lil BBQ also.

Ill be going back up this week to see if the road to Palmdale is open from La Canada.

Again for all those who have already cleared their calendar, and would still like to go cruising, stay tuned or PM me if you have anyquestions.
