naw i wish Mike... i havnt really been in the garage... lost motivation.... but i started cleaning more today.. had susie help me organize and make a list.

also work had not allowed me to work on the fd or check the garage..

Naive? I'm 42 years old and have been driving RX-7s for over 15 years around the Bay Area. You think I've never had to deal with thieves? If he'd had locked the gate (read the original post, genius), then he would have never gotten ripped off.

**** man... yea just try to make a list of everything that was taken from your garage. That way if certain items show up on people's cars... you'll know. The rotary community is in fact pretty small. Get that list up ASAP! tools are another problem....because anyone could have any tool really ya know? but rarer items etc..id fight someone over if they surfaced on a shady characters car or for sale thread...

 

IMO I think it could still be someone random. This forum is open to everyone. Jamie's address and pictures of everything he is doing is on here. So take that as a sad warning I feel bad posting those pics of the house for sale next door.

This is why, a shotty comes in handy...Im lucky because I have 6 people in my family that all have different work schedules. theres always someone up at my house..My room shares teh garage wall and i hear everything....walking into my house let alone my back yard uninvited and unknown warrants my dogs to attack you and for a gun to be pointed at their face......Benifits to growing up in the country....Act now think later....god knows the cops wont.

 

And it is Gardena, never can trust some of the people in that city.
Really sucks though.

A couple of guys in a black toyota tacoma stold a bunch of rotary stuff my friend was saving for me, in El Monte. Guys came during the day and loaded up. Some fc and some rx2 win dizzie stuff. What a bunch of dicks. Can't they just buy them like the rest of us. Smh.

I know it's almost been a month, but did you report the missing plate to the DMV? That's how car thieves work, they take a valid plate from a car like they plan on steeling and put in on so if the plate is run, it'll pass cursory check. It's not going to help if they pulled over though.

I hate thieves. I think I hate them more than most other criminals. And as a couple poster pointed out, 9/10 times you know the thief or he know you or of you from a mutual friend.

I hope you check EBAY as well.

I really don't know what to say as it seems its been happening more often around this community lately. It sucks to say it but this may be one of the main concerns/issues when it comes to posting build threads on public forums. Maybe why some people choose not to post pictures regarding their builds. You hope people would appreciate the time and effort that went into these projects but unfortunately that is not the case. I'm on the east coast but I'll keep my eyes open for sketchy "business".
