At this point, my buddy says fuggit and to hell with her. DUMPED HER!!!!!!!!

Is this too harsh a reaction or is this a good way to end this before more of this crap continues???

I mean he was only trying to share a passion for cars with her and to introduce her to his friends. Isnt this what all girls ask of us? To include her in your life and make her a part of your life???
SevenStock is more fun when the girl isn't whining about the heat/smell of exhaust, lack of "fun", etc. He should be happy she didn't want to go haha, but yeah dumping her was dumb..if she doesn't wanna go, it's for the better! Only a rare number of girls like looking at our stinky smelling, loud, outdated cars all day like us.

And my girlfriend knows that I don't wanna go shoe shopping or regular shopping with her(Lingerie though) ...it's boring as fuckkkk...So I don't expect her to go to SevenStock. Not a matter of my hobby getting walked over...of course girls are going to think guy things are dumb..like pissing contests (I never could pee over the fence ), random *** wrestling matches with friends, eating contests, drinking contests, etc..

And thats what im lookin for. Two years ago I brought a girl to Sevenstock who was running thru the rain with me and excited about these junky old cars. She caught a 102 degree Fever the day after and didnt mention it til months later. She was a good woman, but things didnt work out.

This last chick was a selfish girl, spoiled by her ***** *** ex-boyfriend, who kept buying her ****, even though she was with me. like $200 Concert tickets or $300+ beatles rockband premium game set... hahaha what a ******* loser he is....(yeah, he still IS)

By all means give her *** the slip then. I was just commenting on leaving a girl for just not liking your hobby. Girls usually don't lol

I didn't want to go to attend some liberal hippie green energy speech thing with my gf so I didn't. Should she dump me? Heck no. Would I have gone if she REALLY wanted me too? Yes.

Did she want to drive 400 miles south to Irvine with me to go to sevenstock? Heck no. Would she have gone if I REALLY wanted her too? Yes.

But we both respect each other enough not to even go further than "hey you want to go to so and so?". Its like begging my gf to go to a King Diamond or Dark Funeral concert knowing she doesn't like metal. Quite frankly it would be a little rude on my part for making her go to something I know she wouldn't want to attend.

So getting all bent out of shape for asking your gf to attend an event that she probably didn't want to attend and where in my opinion girls shouldn't even be allowed (unless they are topless and handing out free stuff) isn't cool.

However there were probably other problems with the relationship that may have not been able to be worked out which in reality lead to the break up.

Look at my location. I live less than 10 minutes from Mazda HQ. I originally asked her to be at my place at 6am to caravan with me. When i realized my car wouldnt be done in time, i told her to sleep in, and try to make it there by noon.

On top of that, i helped organize the Seven NOT Stock event and bought her steak dinner in advance.

The fact is, she told me she would be there, and she wasnt. And if there is one thing in this world that frustrates me more than anything, its being flakey.

All of this is coming from a guy who:

So forgive me if i take your advice with a grain of salt

I simply dont let girls treat me like ****. I'd rather be alone, which im not afraid of. There are a lot of desperate good looking girls out there

+1 the virus needs some time to incubate. And yeah you don't get sick from just from the weather. Though cold colditions can make the immune system drop a virus has to be present.

Edit- hey Brismo so how did the offender take the news? How you break up with her? basically did you say hey you missed sevenstock and now you're out the door... or what lol

I try to keep car time and girlfriend (fiance now) time separate. She's one of those people that only see a car as a mode of transportation, so I'm not going to force my interests upon her. I asked her if she wanted to go to Sevenstock, she said not really. I asked her to go to SEMA with me, she said it's probably not a good idea and I'd probably get annoyed with her, and this is all probably for the best because it's true, I WOULD get annoyed at her for all of the same reasons that Lil Red mentioned earlier. She doesn't expect me to go shopping with her either, so that's pretty cool. She actually buys most of my clothes because I hate shopping for clothes.
BUT, if she did agree to do something and then just straight out flaked, I'd be pretty pissed off, so I can see what you're talking about. If she was constantly making commitments that she didn't keep, then it's probably for the best that you guys split up.
