So my buddy dumped his GF for NOT coming to Seven Stock...need your imput people!!!
They wouldnt Leave eddie after taking the pics. He was making them laugh and they couldnt pull away from his charm. Other Men had to Beg to take their picture with them, but they wanted to stay with Big Eddie.

My evidence right thurrr
my ex came with me to sevenstock... dude i almost even got back with her coz of it... but meh... i know how it'll be in the end. she'll be back to her usual lazy selfish self
If you ask me man, girls and cars don't mix
See I tried that route and I found this:
Girls are selfish beings and they can't stand NOT being the center of attention
They say they're for your passion for cars but that's not the case
Best way is to keep bothe of em seperate

Same spot as last year almost. Just hung out with the boys and girls at the old school row. I think I've seen them all cars. But despite all that, I cant miss 7stock, got to show support. caravan and such is now part of the annual ritual
My g/f had a good time at last years Sevenstock (her first ever SS) that she asked for the day off of work just to wake up at 5am to be around a bunch of stinky smokey RX-7s. She has even offered to pay for my gas if I went to a track event
Lots of girls complain about this but then blow it when given the opportunity to take part in the hobby that was part of their boyfriends life way before they came around. They'll do it by saying how dumb/boring/pointless that hobby is and will try to leave as soon as possible because they cant stand it anymore but they sure love taking guys along when buying make-up or shoes just so we can be a part of their life too.
Seriously, it sounds like she was too selfish to respect his enthusiasm putting herself well before his interests.
He should have told here her he was taking her shopping. No doubt she would have been outside his house honking her horn (pun intended) to get going.
Shouldn't this be in the lounge section?
Well put. Wait, isnt this the lounge?

However, once you sign that marriage contract, everything will change and you will have the last word as in "Yes Honey"

Dumping your gf because of pre-existing problems like arguing, commitment issues, trust issues, and communications problems? Probably for the better.
Dumping your gf because of sevenstock? Can't say I agree with that.

"I'm hot" "How much longer are we gonna be here" "I'm hungry" "I'm tired of standing up, can we go sit somewhere" "I'm cold" "Is this all we are gonna do" "I gotta pee and the bumpy road is making it worse"
And that is why I almost never take my girl out with me to anything car related, keep them separate.

Well I guess I'm totally screwed then
As for the op. It's completely dependent on the back story. How long have they been together. Does she do this all the time? Is this a one time thing? Is she lazy? Was she sick? All these things play into whether it was an overreaction.
I'm guessing she is lazy. I'm guessing this happens all the time and I'm guessing the reason he dumped he isn't because she didn't go to 7stock but because she isn't there for him. But guys do dumb things when they end up looking like s tool in front of their friends. So this could have been a pride/ego thing too. If it was the latter then yes it was an overreaction if the former then no good for him for seeing the light
