Talking So I decided to change my brake line!

The stocker

In comparison

Oh yeah spend more time bleeding my baby versus the install. What can I say after the install - stiffy and high pedal feel awesome!

But after that decided to change my fuel filter also - this one is a bitch! I thought I had a rag but the gas went all over my shirt.

after install

My car has now 80,000 miles original engine and boy good thing I change the fuel filter it was still the original from zero miles. Notice I change the clip to the threaded holder. Too tight up there why did they put that sucker in there.

my engine bay right now, not a lot but I am proud of her, she is my daily drive warrior. Who says they are not reliable (hehe) just as long you don't rape her she will be good at you.

Next project is the oil pan minor leak, so I am just saving up might as well change the mount while I am down there. Those pineapple oil pan is sick but cannot afford it right now.

My baby

Were you at in cali those trees look like giant sequia's, and pines? Nice car by the way.

Rez311 - Most, if not all intakes for the FD place the filters in that or simalar position. The Fd actually has a area that directs fresh air to were his filters are.

I was looking at the pictures thinking "My brakes don't look like that, WTH?"

Then I got to the engine bay shot and it all made sense.

Believe it or not this is just around skyline crossing towards Highway 1. Very nice hidden twisties but very dangerous hills with no rails. Once in a while when I drive her there I let her loose yeah sideways.

Quest continues - rats nest

So this time after working on the brakes especially in friday night going all the way until weee hours but oh well call me crazy. I decided on tackling the famous rats nest not too bad but saw some minor oil leak where you pour the oil found out that it does not have any o-ring in it.

So opening but of course after throttle body you normally see that brownish color inside the intake plenum. I will clean them up when I am done before putting her back together. Dirty, dirty girl

and here is what greeted me everything about this car is still stock not for long. but of course I researched therally before doing this preventing to damage those sensors (whatever they are) I used barbeque lighter to loosen them up.

after,

another shot, not quite done just halfway done. More to go! I think I will strap them up, it is tight though very hard to pull out but who know when you drive this and it gets hot so double insurance.

After that I decided to play with the intake plenum. It looks so old and dirty, I played on polishing her and this is the unfinished project did you see the shiny portion? Ahh, and oohhhss but time consuming.

For the conclusion this is what I wanted what my engine should look like. (it is not my engine I got it here on the forum) I am only using it for comparison.

To be continued....
