LOL I had to hussle my *** to get it done in that time frame. The hood was from a place in Walnut. I'll try to get that shop's info. The canards are all the way from RE in Japan from RHDJapan.com

The shop that painted it is in Van Nuys called Bodywerks. For a straight paint job like my buddy got, it was 1500 bucks. They repaired and installed his roof spoiler, got rid of all the emblem and wing holes (welded) and the did the paint of course. great guys and they do custom fab work too.
Thx man. Yeah I'm putting on my Megan coilovers soon and will drop it a bit more but not much cause my hood has real ugly streets and since I'll be getting hte diffuser, i cant risk it LOL

 

pretty drastic before and after pictures. we have the CYM fc2000 here in san antonio now (or at least it was here a while ago) guy went to middle east idk if its still in storage here in san antonio... hmmm

man i've always hated those side view mirrors... cant see crap. i think they are hidious but to each their own. works well with the body kit hands down. just hate that they are more ricey then form and function at same time. know what i mean? just so common and cant see barly anything on the sides of you... but if your going faster then every one why would it matter :-P

clean work. nice choice of where to spend your money. did you wind up doing any of the body work yourself? i did 85% of the work on my car. its all about learning 4 me.

Very unexpected comment from you. I agree 100% that the mirrors suck big time for actual purposes but they do go well with the kit. I might change them up in the near future but we'll see. AS for the body work, I paid a shop to do it. trust me if I had the time, I would've kicked it's *** but I work 50+ hrs a week so wrench time is very limited and I was on a deadline. As for interior shots. I'll snap some this weekend when I dust it off a bit LOL

my kit isnt even authentic. its ebay knock off held on by 2 zip ties and 2 bolts :-P

 

No hard feelings here. You car really does look great Jess, obviously not digging the wing or steering wheel but hell, we all dont have to like the same parts. We do share the same passion though so many congrats on all of the work that you've put into your cars you by far kick any girls *** I know as far as wrenching and hands-on

Exhaust is dope... sounds much more aggressive and not raspy and with the ECV, the thing gets so quiet I dont set off any alarms when I park in the garage HAHAHA

 

that wing is history right there... usto be on vipers fc. won best fc in show seven stock 9 and was on the main stage area too. i couldnt pass up the opertunity to buy it off him when he was parting out his car. spent a pretty penny on it. and when i re-painted my car i almost didnt put it back on. the painter insisted that we fit it and see how it would look. so i left it on and again it is a mid 90's icon!

thing is so old.... been painted about 5 times or so. silver, red, blue, orange, then my red.
obtw i posted pix in my thread, i learned how to properly sand clear and buff it out.. man i am sore!

 

I remember Vipers car it was really nice! Tell me about old rare finds, my RE-A wing had like 7 colors under it. Do what you do and do it regardless of other's (even my) input. Maybe you can open up a shop in the near future, I know I might.

My wing is bolted to the car... fits some of the same holes as the stock sport wing but I had to tap and drill for the front side pieces. Its on there pretty good. People always try to open my hatch by it so it has to be secured LOL... is that your FC in your avatar??? It looks like the one another member had unless its still you with a new account.
