Good job on the pics.
just and FYI though, if you put the camera on Macro, you can take close up shots and still be in focus. (like the shot of the spark plug hole).
anyways, thanks for th pics.
Yeah Jason, the kit consist of 4 threaded sleeves and 4 springs. you pick the rates. (and what ever other small things are needed.)
you keep your shocks.
just let them know what shocks you have so they can make sure your new sleeves fit. (some aftermarket shockes are thicker then others).
what shocks do you have? (yes I know you have struts, I just like the work shock better).

Thanks... I can't promise much though. This car's a handful to learn on. I could probably use some help dialing in the chassis but mostly I think it's a problem off too much power for a novice doing technical driving.
By the way, who made that yellow three point strut bar on your FC? I've been looking for something similar for mine.
Zero... Sorry to hear about the engine drama fella. That sucks. If the dark side starts to look appealing I've got a thread detailing what all I went through for the LS conversion (see sig).

yeah that vid is freak sweet!
like Damon said.... seat time.
the strut bar on my car was made by Schidecker fabrications. (spelling?) in rialto. he is the one that put the cage in that car. the strut bar actualy bolts to the cage on the other side of the fire wall. it tied the cage to the front end of the car. he did a very good job. and the price seemed fair.
for a drag car that strut brace was likley a waist, but it would have been killer in a road race car.

Ughh,
Looks like I'll have my hands full getting ready for the 30th race.
Here's my honey do list:
1. Relocate air filter in fender well out of engine bay
Got parts, hole is in, easy money- dyno tested extra 12whp-pretty good for $30
2. New sparks
3. Replace fuel rail w/ polished Blingy one I picked up for cheap
I know I'm going to regret this one
4. new valve cover gasket
Previous owner used silicone and I'll be lucky if none of it made it into the oil pick-up yet
5. Replace water line from turbo to block
I knew I could smell coolant after the last race. Ironicly w/ a leak from a heated and pregnant line my temps still only hit normal.
6. Oil change
7. Plastic under fender things back in
8. Remove rear sway bar
I'll put it back in for any future mad tyte Gymkhana drifting action
I guess it's not that much compared to others. Zero........
Hey Rob- Let me know when you upload the in car vids from last race.

Did I hear gymkhana mentioned? My favorite video...
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/49559/...ns_pro_driver/
Ken Block's was definitely the first 4 wheel drive I've seen go nuts with it.

You big bulky cars don't stand a chance against the liteweights.

And my to do list is WAY to long to mention. So without going in to detail;
Hoses

Brakes

^^
I was thinkin you would like the liteweight comment.
I am hoping for under 2000lbs too. But if all goes well, I will have about 140-150hp at the tires when I am done. But for now, it will probably be about 120hp.

I am still about a month away from completion.
But once it is done, we plan on attending the practice days because you get more laps.
And of course the track days!! The car is actually being built for Street of Willow.
