I've got a hookup. It's called fresh oil, new plugs, and a properly functioning cat converter & air pump.

it doesn't take that long to put emissions back on a car, everything working properly even with a fairly large port the car should pass with a good catalytic converter.

yea, but the problem with the early opening ports is you gotta run them richer...so you gotta run the smog pump at idle to pass the sniffer. you know what that does to the cat??? yikes!

they don't check smog at idle anymore.

yeah i tested my second gen twice now and it still failed, they say i need a new cat witch is bull cause i checked the cat and its still good, i even tuned it up and still nothing so i tryed the honest way now its time to do it dishonest.....muhahahaha

i second that. i was looking and gave up. i'm gonna register my next 7 in my home state and skip the bull. thats one good thing about the military. back home when the paper come in the mail telling you it's smog time you just check the box that say the vehicle is out of state for the time being.
