No, just stupid. The description meant for originally open differential equipped vehicles.

Ok then why did it say open diff??? remind you I have been drinkin... The others by OS which is the one I would more than likely go with and Carbonetics don't say Open or Viscous... So why is it the Kaaz the only one's that says that isa what I'm wondering I meen is it made for the RX-7's that didnt come stock with LSD's or what!!!

It is an aftermarket performance limited slip differential. It is not open, it is infact a "possie" differential. For serious drifting a 2 way is your best bet as it offers maximum locking on acceleration AND deceleration. 1.5 is quite susbstantial though and is often argued as being a better overall LSD compared to a 2 way as it is easier to manage.

I personally don't know this from experience as because I have had only S4 or S5 lsds in my Rx7s. This is just general knowledge gathered from forums.

Hope this helps.

OK cause when I get a new LSD I'll be doing a lot of Canyon Running like I do NOW, but also some drifting. I was just wondering why would they advertise like that instead of just sayin it was just a LSD... Cause I know some company's sell the torsion type clutch types and so on and so on. I guess I was just thinkin a little to much being buzzed didnt help for a stupid question...

So it's pretty good huh??? How does it feel on deceleration cause I drove one of my friends turbo Miata with a 2 way and I didnt like the way it felt, Like it clicked when you came off the gas or was there something wrong with his diff?

1.5 kaaz for back road-ing is tons of fun! I got one on my car. Although you might consider getting your whole terrain all T2 or just get a custom drive shaft from mazdatrix which i ended up doing.

umm If your looking in to a kaaz make sure you do your research cause I ended buying a s4 t2 kaaz 1.5 which postponed my project forever! until I came across someone who had one.

Talk to your local shops and see if you can work out a deal with them. I got mine for a pretty penny which didn't cost me both arms and legs just one of each.
