DriftingB26RX7: Go back to school, kid. If you can't see, you can't drive. If you want to drive at night, you need bright headlights, which our cars are severely lacking.
Leaving your stock headlights halfway up will make the road darker, do you understand that? The kit Fumanchu had used different lights, which are about half as tall as stock. So he only needed his assembly to open half-height. His system did this without adding any wires or switches. You can probably do the same to yours. Search the 3rd-Gen section for "sleepy eye motor" and you should find the thread. It's about 6 months old.
J_J, do you have any photos of those headlights installed in your car?

There is actually nothing wrong with sealed beam lighting. It's the US SPEC spray pattern that's the problem.
Get E code headlights and you won't have a problem. And you can bump up the bulb to a higher output too. Such as 90/120s with E code lense. It won't blind people either.
This all costs about $150. PM me if you are interested.

This thread reminds of Father Joe's commercial in channel 2. He wants donations such as as airplane, boats and luxury stuff. ****, If I have those stuff, I dont think I will be watching channel 2. I will be reading the business journal. but hey, Vera Jimenez is my traffic girl.

so why would I want to have my headlights up in the daytime? Even if it's only partly up, seems like a stupid thing to do. I would have stayed out of this one, but damn, drifterboi's really coming off like a kid. stupid kids. btw, where the heck is whitesurferdood?
